Update November 2022…
The grave of Wallace the dog, a faithful hound, has been beautifully restored by Rowen Community Group with grant aid from the Carneddau Landscape Partnership.

Walking directions to the grave.
Park on Rowen High Street opposite the flagpole.
Walk from the phone box next to the Ty Gwyn Pub, along the lane/track towards the Cefn Cae campsite
As you approach the campsite fields, turn right at a stile/gate and cross a field edge with the campsite on your left.
Go through a gate in the field corner and turn right.
The grave is 150 yards ahead on the left.
Return the same way or continue along the signposted Pilgrims Way to Barkers Lane.

Many thanks to Beth and Andrew at Coed Mawr Hall and to the landowners Melanie and Alwyn Jones
