Hope Restored Food Bank

Hope Restored food bank with Brenda Fogg

Message from Ian and Margaret Trevette, Rowen…

Dear neighbours in Rowen and friends in the wider Community,
The Hope Restored registered charity continues its work to provide shelter, and support those without homes, and those in need in and around Llandudno and further afield in Conwy County.
Although the numbers of food parcels given by the Charity’s food bank is slightly lower than the 90 per week we have experienced recently, the demand remains high with larger parcels needed for families.

We would wish to very much thank those who donate food items at our food donation point at Ty Hwnt yr Afon , which we deliver each week to “Hope Restored”.

We also say “thank you ” for the generous donations of money to the Charity that we have continued to receive not only from within the Community, but also from a long standing second home owner who is unable to visit their property.  This kindness and generosity from you all is very much appreciated by Brenda Fogg, who with her team of volunteers unconditionally provides this vital service.  With no end in sight to the uncertainty of the effects of the Pandemic on people’s livelihoods, the need for which we anticipate will become more acute as the weeks go on towards Winter,
Again we thank you for your support.
The food donation point at Ty Hwnt yr Afon is still in place for those who may wish to donate.
Kind Regards
