You can visit the church and the churchyard, and have a rest in the porch.

The grade-one listed Llangelynnin (or Llangelynin) Old Church is one of the historical and religious gems of the Conwy Valley uplands, accessible on foot from Rowen, Conwy or Penmmaenmawr, or by car from Conwy.

Take the B5106, direction Trefriw.

At nearby Gyffin Convenience Store, turn right uphill, passing Woosey’s Fish and Chip shop.

Turn left onto Hendre Road and drive through Hendre hamlet.

Continue for one mile and pass a chapel on your right.

Follow signs for the Old Church up a winding lane to roadside car park, near Garnedd Wen (a house).
