Important note… Re the advice in the Conwy Council walk leaflet, we do not recommend that you leave your car at Penmaenmawr, intending to travel by bus from Rowen back to Conwy, and then to Penmaenmawr at the end of your walk.  There is no afternoon bus from Rowen!
We recommend that you park in Rowen, travel by No. 19 bus at 8.06am from Rowen to Conwy Railway Station, and then by no. 5 bus every 20 minutes to Penmaenmawr Library, from the same bus stop, and then walk back to Rowen.   In the summer, you could use the 12.02 bus from Rowen to Conwy. Check the times.
Sundays, 12:06 bus from Rowen to Conwy, then no. 5 at 12:40pm to Penmaenmawr
Our shop in Rowen opposite the bus stop is now a popular cafe and shop, Malwen.store at Groesffordd Ro, open at weekends.
Please support the cafe and shop!
Note the useful new Co-op store in Penmaenmawr, next to New York Cottages, the start of this walk.  Ideal for picking up some lunch.
