Rowen in the Conwy Valley is well-known as one of the prettiest villages in north Wales, and a popular starting point for a day in the hills. It’s also a lovely place to live!

Rowen is in the Snowdonia National Park, close to the coast and sheltered by the mountains. It has a nice climate, some very pretty gardens, and plenty of good walks.

Rowen Village Gardens Open Day every two years attracts large crowds of visitors.

Rowen has a very active and welcoming community, and there’s Welsh singing in the Ty Gwyn Hotel every Friday evening. We’re just a short distance from Conwy and Llandudno, with good schools and shops nearby.  It’s a great place to make a permanent home.  You’ll love it here!

We hope you like our community website, and we’d welcome your comments.

Croeso i Rowen

Adnabyddir Rowen fel un o bentrefi harddaf yn Nyffryn Conwy ac yn fan cychwyn poblogaidd i deithiau cerdded ar fryniau a mynyddoedd yr ardal. Mae hefyd yn fan delfrydol i fyw ynddo.

Lleolwyd Rowen yng nghysgod y mynyddoedd oddi mewn i Barc Cenedlaethol Eryri ac o fewn cyrraedd agos i’r arfordir. Mae hinsawdd hyfryd yma, gyda nifer o erddi prydferth a digonedd o lwybrau cerdded gwych.

Pob dwy flynedd, bydd Diwrnod Gerddi Agored Rowen yn denu dros 900 o ymwelwyr i’r gerddi agored. Bydd y Diwrnod Agored nesaf dydd Sul, y 15fed o Fai, 2016.

Mae’r gymuned yn Rowen yn un fywiog a chroesawgar dros ben ac fe glywir canu Cymraeg yn nhafarn Y Tŷ Gwyn pob nos Wener. Mae Rowen yn agos at dref Conwy a Llandudno ac mae dewis da o ysgolion a siopau gerllaw. Byddwch wrth eich bodd yma!

Gobeithio y byddwch yn hoffi’r wefan gymunedol a byddwn yn falch o dderbyn eich sylwadau.
