Tir y Coed Country House

Wales Tourist Board 5* Country House.
Tir y Coed Country House nestles in over an acre of landscaped gardens, on the edge of the delightful village of Rowen. It sits just within the boundary of Snowdonia National Park, with great views of the mountains from the terrace bar, open from 4pm daily throughout the summer.

Ty Gwyn Hotel

Relaxed, attractive pub.  Good food reviews, Welsh singing on Friday nights from 9pm.  Walled beer garden, riverside garden, outdoor seating.  Not to be confused with the Ty Gwyn Hotel in Betws y Coed.   Winter opening hours until 30th April 2017: Mon, 4pm to 11pm; Tues, closed until 28th March; Wed and Thurs, 4pm to 12 midnight; Fri and Sat, 12 midday to 1am; Sun, 12 midday to 9pm.  Open from midday on bank holidays. Dutch Pancake House
